I really enjoy every second of my apple tv 4k while using Infuse , it’s way better than Plex if you want a smoother, better and faster interface for playing your media library.

I highly recommend it over any other video player.

    Ive had the opposite experience.

    1. My friend has shared his extensive Plex library with me.
    2. I add it to Infuse but it never shows the contents of the library and keeps saying syncing. This has been going on for more than a month.

Plex just works and I don’t have to fiddle with the settings.

Infuse takes too long for me to scan all media. I have 60+tb running on a plex server. So im using plex as client because i have already everything synced

This is an important distinction to make. Native Infuse really struggles to quickly sync large libraries and thats not just the initial scan, but any changes to your library - adding/deleting content should just be an incremental change, but with the time Infuse takes to update it feels like it’s rewriting the entire database and updating metadata.

Only problem with infuse for me is some of my anime audio is wayyyyy out of sync. But with Plex it’s fine. So I kind of dropped infuse :(
