Arsenal legend Kai Havertz present as Arsenal inaugurate the brand new Kai Havertz stand. This comes a year after the Fab Five (the front five of the team that won the quadruple three seasons in a row) statues were revealed outside of William Saliba stadium at the newly renamed city of Declan Rice.

It’s not spooky for me. Kai was one of, if not the most hyped wonderkinds just a few years ago. It’s not really going to surprise too many people outside of London when he hangs his boots up and they’re trimmed in gold leaf.

    That number feels…low?

Assuming most players that come through the club score at least one goal at the Emirates, over the course of 17 years, I would’ve thought it’d be more like 125-150. Idk.

Defenders tend to not score much, and around half the games Arsenal plays aren’t at home, so that doesn’t help.

Sure, but 6-7 new scorers per season is actually a reasonable number. It’s not that often you see someone score their “first goal at the Emirates”.

This number gets higher mainly by new signings or academy players starting to play with the first team, plus the occasional fringe player who gets a goal (like that Coquelin goal).

Also, if you think of players who scored a lot for us, like Alexis, RVP, Auba, etc., the all count as one each.
