My 2018 Nissan Altima was able to remote start from fob, and drive off without the car cutting out.

My brand new 2024 Camry intelligent key seems way behind tech wise and is 6 years newer.

Is there anyway to enable drive off feature (car not shutting off after being remote started)?

I saw some YouTube videos saying the feature is coming but I need it NOW.

WINTER IS HERE

Any advice on this matter is appreciated.

Thank you

this has absolutely nothing to do with being behind on tech or anything.

in fact the Nissan is a security risk if the system works as you stated.

There is no security risk - you cannot enter the car without the key fob in pocket or manually opening the door with button. The car will not allow start unless key is in the car. I’m telling you guys, once you experience how an auto start should be it is life changing.

It is impossible to auto start the car and some random person to drive off with it. No safety risks!
