Just went and test drove one, still not a huge fan of the blocky front. Just wondering if I’ll get over it, I’ve been saving for one and can almost justify the purchase.

My biggest takeaway from it is how exposed the front radiator is… is there a way to protect this from rocks? Seems like an expensive trip on the road if one hits it at speed.

It looks a lot better in person. People will clown on it but have only ever seen it in photos, a lot of cars look completely different when seen in person

G80 grew on me, and I bought one. M2 is a lost cause though. Seems like they were trying to copy GT2 and both of those cars aren’t that pretty.

Unpopular opinion - I don’t like the looks of the F87, and I never did. Fantastic car to drive (especially the CS), but I just never liked the way it looks. However, I fuckin loved the G42 from the second I saw it, so I waited for the G87 and put down a deposit as soon as I could. I’ve been driving for about 30 years, and I’ve owned a ton of cars in that time, but goddamn… the G87 M2 is so good. A little chonky, but it’s my personal opinion that it’s the best car that BMW makes right now. Also, it gets a lot of hate from “enthusiasts” (mostly F87 owners), but I have never owned anything that gets as much love from random-ass strangers as this stupid little blue brick does.

I love it, drove it and fell even more in love.

G87 is probably the only new car where i have a desire to buy.

The M2 factory race cars are getting VERY high marks from competitive drivers.

A solid NO from me. I have yet to embrace or even like it.

Im only now starting to warm up to the Pig-snout M3/M4… and only in Black at this time.

If BMW don’t up their game for the future car models, I’ll have to move to another brand.

Just looked at both the M2 and M4 today. Some might call me delusional when I say that the M4’s external appearance has grown on me. I cannot say the same for the M2. I wanna like it. I’m not there.

I liked the M2 since release. Normal 2 series I hate, but I love the M2. They went all in on the blocky square design and I honestly weirdly like it. Hated the G80 so much I bought an Alpina, but this one I enjoy
