Ever since I started putting much more effort in university, working out 6 days a week in gym/calisthenics, improving the whole apartment, trying to maximize an entire day, and being more courageous in general, I feel like my self respect has sky-rocketted.
Really pushing yourself to the limit truly gives a different view on the world, and in turn makes you more grateful for everything that happens, just wish I implemented it earlier though
It’s so annoying when you have teammates who are ‘seniors’ with more than a decade worth of experience being incompetent idiots. They absolute don’t pull their weight for what they earn. Ngl, It’s demoralizing and I hate working with people like that.
Wonder how that translates to football as well, do teammates go and complain to their manager or they just suck it up and drag the dead weight for the team.
And to be absolutely clear, this is not an indirect slander aimed at any player I just wanted to vent my frustration.

Honestly think the game is gone.
Jagex spend way too much time pandering to the niche audiences (Ironman, UIM etc) of the game which is ironic as those players literally signed up to their limitations and handicaps. Everyone else just gets shafted.
Leagues and DMM are ace products though.

Hahhaaaaa I can’t even play video games because that was my ex and I’s shared hobby, I go from hating her to wanting her back to hating her again. I need to move on and stop being so desperate but I can’t. I guess this is the sign to stop playing video games and get a real hobby.
I’ve been out of work for a few months due to my industry having a second consecutively shite year. Currently training to be a driving instructor but the bloody test dates are so scarce it’s dragging things on far longer than need be. Be that as it may, I don’t think I want to be a driving instructor really, just giving it a go as it seems fairly stable and it should give me a degree of freedom to study something else if I need or wish to.
I’m hoping that I discover I really enjoy it, being an instructor would be my 4th career change. There is at least one more change as I vowed to do the TEFL and go to somewhere in either Asia or Africa when I hit 50 which isn’t far away, but do I have the energy for a 6th is the question? Of course I do, retirement isn’t for the likes of me!
When I was younger, I imagined at my age I’d be financially secure, have a house, car, wife and children. I have precisely zero of these, but I do have a bike, nephews, and love my own solitude way too much. I think I’ve begun rejecting a lot of ideas that I thought were mine but were dictated to me. Anyway in other news, I was permanently banned from an anti-capitalist sub the other day and it kind of annoyed me.
According to the mods, saying killing is wrong no matter the reason so Israel and Hamas should be condemned is zionism. The mods have yet to provide further comment.
My space is shared with cowards and muppets, but that’s the world for you so it’s OK.
moved into a new apartment about a month and a half go. first big girl solo apartment ever. have needed to buy pretty much everything. (always relied on student housing w furniture and fixins or on roommates)

I’ve had this thought for a while now. I feel kind of silly sharing this but for some reason i also feel like i want to share it. I don’t mean to sound overly dramatic but life has been a bit challenging for me over the last year or two. There have been times where i wasn’t at my best mentally. (this is where i feel a bit silly——>) One of the biggest things that has helped me during my off periods has been Arsenal Football Club. Watching the team play well for sure, but also looking forward to the games, staying connected to this subreddit, listening to Arseblog and Handbrake Off podcasts. Just feeling like I’m part of the club in a way, but mainly just part of the Arsenal community. I have grown to really love our club in a way that i just didn’t 3-4 years ago and this has been a good thing. Thank you fellow gooners.
