Hello, my apologies if this is in the wrong space, currently an owner of a e 92 320d, I’ve just noticed that a full on m3 e92 has a torque figure of 400nm and a 320d has a torque spec of 350nm of torque. ( Ps I know there’s 200 hp between them but) I just wanted to know if I got my 320d remapped to 420Nm, would it feel anywhere near the m3 when it comes to acceleration? (Would like to emphasise I that I fully get it would be a good few hp lless than the m3 just want to get a feeling of how they compare, if at all and the relationship between high horsepower and high torque) big thanks in advance 😁 xx

Even the E90 330d, at 500Nm of torque and 228hp, only does 0-60 in ~6 seconds. E90 M3 does it in under 5. So, no, nowhere close.
