Hey all! I have been using a Lenovo Yoga C940 since 2020 but the i5 and 8 GB of RAM have been letting me down recently. Other than the performance, I have loved the computer and want to know if I should stick with Lenovo for a new 2-in-1. I checked out an HP Spectre x360 today and really loved the design of that, but I’m not as familiar. I’m a college student and would use it for homework, notetaking, and some light coding. Budget is ~$1000. If you have any insight or other 2-in-1 suggestions please share!

-pretty much, this is a Linux machine now, move it off of Windows.

Superior replacement to both generic Yoga and HP counterparts are ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen-7 or Gen-8. Don’t make the same mistake and get it with 8gb. 16gb is adequate.
And get it with the anti-glare (matte), not the anti-reflective (gloss), the screen shine coating is just a dated design that comes default with iPads and Galaxy tablets - mainstream manufacturing is able to get screens now with touch matte and high quality colors.

    Good luck
