I’m looking to repair my Asus Vivobook S530UN, and I’m deciding between the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 and the Macbook Air M1.

My main laptop tasks include writing, editing graphics and videos, and a little bit of gaming (I only really play Genshin Impact). I’ve been a Windows user all my life but I’m considering switching to Mac for the battery life + better screen display. However, I heard that gaming on mac is limited and it would be a bummer to let go of Genshin since I’m still pretty hooked. I wonder if the benefits from getting a mac would outweigh this?

Would appreciate any insight and sharing of experiences! Was switching to mac worth it? Do you have other suggestions for a worthy replacement that is similar to the asus vivobook?

Gaming on Apple MacBook is crap, don’t even try it unless you’re installing Windows on it and playing some old generic games.

Get the Lenovo computer with RTX4060 graphics for GI gaming.

If you want battery life, then yes get the MacBook, but don’t expect to game on it, that shit won’t even run GI at even a quarter of the speed of a RTX4060 laptop.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen10/11 will be better option for Windows solution and battery life, but it’s not for gaming at all - so don’t even try it for GI.
