Big trucks and SUVs, especially those with flat front ends, aren’t just more intimidating to look at, they are genuinely deadlier for pedestrians, according to new research from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Yeah the Mach-E is boxy, but if you’ve sat in a regular stang 2020+ you’ll get 20% hood. Then on the Bronco Sport, Ford did the same thing. I was personally hoping I could just get a Bronco Sport, but sitting in that thing felt just like the Mustang which felt like the Mach-E.
I don’t know if Ford is doing this on purpose as a style choice, but I couldn’t make the jump from Jeep because of the hood angle. It’s really bad and I don’t know why it hasn’t been an issue for other people.
