Chevy has been saying the Equinox EV would be on sale in the Fall of 2023 and start as low as $30,000.

We’re pretty well into Fall now and I haven’t heard a single thing about this car and when I contacted a dealership I was told they also have no time table for when they will get them.

Does anyone know anything about this car? I was somewhat intrigued by it, but fear it’s gonna show up a year late and about $15k higher than what was previously said.

Basically, Chevy is trying to leverage the Osborne effect against rivals (probably targeting Tesla). They say that a cheaper EV is coming soon so don’t buy that EV you’ve been looking at. Then it comes out more expensive and later than “expected”. Toyota is doing the same every year with “solid state 600 mile range coming in 2 years!”.
