    I really don’t get why the ref should come all the way to the side of the pitch just to look at the screen and stall the game for like 10 minutes. They could’ve strapped a smartphone to his arm or thigh, which can show the footage for him to see. Provided it doesn’t have a big screen like the one we have currently, but almost anyone can see almost anything perfectly through a full HD iPhone 15 screen anyway. The ref rarely suffer from contact, unlike the players, so there should be no health hazard either. Wonder why a multi billion enterprise could not afford some of its most important employees better work equipment.

      Or make it simple. Do it like rugby. They show the best angles on the big screens which jas every single stadium in PL. Fans see it. Ref ses it. He gets clue in his ear What they think they see and he is watching as they comment along.

      Why the hell would you send him across the pitch to look at shitty little display. The current system is just pathetic excuse that allows them to be shit and then have a piece of paper that states they tried.
