Looks fine, but teasing it in this manner over the span of years is going to kill most of the hype for the car once it releases. Would have been perfectly fine putting the Precept up there instead.

I think Polestar has some of the cleanest looking vehicles. But their average prices need to come down significantly.
Up here in Canada everyone sends their prices to space - the latest model year Polestar 2 is actually priced to compete with the new and supposedly more affordable Volvo EX30 and Hyundai Ioniq 5, at least for the base model, and there’s actually inventory available at the stated price.
Related, I wish companies would actually sell cars here, I was on the waiting list for over 18 months for an Ioniq 5 before I finally said fuck it and cancelled. Meanwhile there are news stories about unsold vehicles sitting in US lots. It’s frustrating. Test drove an Ioniq 6 and they wanted $25k over MSRP for it. It’s a nice car - it’s not $80,000 nice.
It looks sweet as hell. There’s a market for this - Tesla Model S buyers price that, and a lot of them will be looking for alternatives for their next car.
Polestar still can’t decide if they want to make sedans/wagons or SUVs and is still splitting the difference.

That looks like calendar year 2025, so model year 2026 (3/4th q 2025). That’s so far away, 2 years, it’s hard to know what to think about it. Things can and will change between now and then. However polestar has done a good job of delivering in general. US auto companies haven’t done a good job of meeting their goals.
