Up here in Canada everyone sends their prices to space - the latest model year Polestar 2 is actually priced to compete with the new and supposedly more affordable Volvo EX30 and Hyundai Ioniq 5, at least for the base model, and there’s actually inventory available at the stated price.
Related, I wish companies would actually sell cars here, I was on the waiting list for over 18 months for an Ioniq 5 before I finally said fuck it and cancelled. Meanwhile there are news stories about unsold vehicles sitting in US lots. It’s frustrating. Test drove an Ioniq 6 and they wanted $25k over MSRP for it. It’s a nice car - it’s not $80,000 nice.
