I am in the process of buying a 2013 328 x-drive that has a lowered suspension. I haven’t gotten it yet but the owner says it was lowered when he bought it 3 years ago and he noticed that the back sits slightly lower than the front. Any ideas why?
Thanks!!!
The reverse rake is because the front struts and springs are different to accommodate for the front axle and half shafts.
There isn’t a lot of room to lower the front on an xdrive while the rear is usually the same.
In a normal car it would be 1.5 inches lower all the way around. On an xdrive is 1.5 Lower in the back 1 in the front.
You can get different springs for the rear to even it out, or use taller spring pads.
That’s what I had to do on my xdrive to make it look even all around.
