We’re 11-4-3 in all comps this year which includes a Community Shield, one loss in each competition, top of our CL group by 4 points after 4 matches, out of the carabao cup, have already beaten City twice, and are 4th in the table within 3 of City.
It’s obvious we’ve regressed in attacking potency a bit since last year’s first half of the season but if this ^^^^^^^ is a regression then we’re still in great shape. We can all ask questions of our team, our tactics, and our lineups, but I don’t think it’s all doom & gloom. We’re poised to do very well in all competitions and I don’t have that same “what if we face Bayern or Real in the knockouts” fear that I did when Wenger was topping CL groups with woefully inadequate squads. Chins up, everyone.
I’ll take a great defense over a great attack anyday, SAF said that defense is what you need to win you titles.
I feel the way we control games now and the attack being better in the CL, I can see us going far in it.
