Maddisons now out for a few months, Udogie and Romero out for a bit, City coming up. Ultimately I don’t think they have the squad depth to keep the charge going.
But sure they undoubtedly had a good run but I guess people were right, City are inevitable…
Nobody thought we would win the title. However, now is a real test for Ange ball. If Bentancur and Dier can come in and be successful then the tactic supersedes the talent. That’s what we are hoping for now to get us through the next 9 games until January. If we can somehow get 15-18 from 27, I’ll feel good about top 4 still. Also, top 5 is really the goal since EPL is all but certain to get 5 in UCL next season.
