The media spin around Tottenham’s performance is insane.
They played with 9 men because they couldn’t handle the pressure at home against a London rival, subsequently conveyed reckless violent conduct, then naively pursued a line higher than a banker snorting coke atop Burj Khalifa.
It was a shocking performance, and 9 men wasn’t an obstacle to overcome, it was the direct result of their irresponsible players and childish tactical inflexibility.
