#WesternSyria: New Sectarian Terrorist Attack in #Hama
Local sources in the western Hama countryside reported that two workers from the Alawite community, Ali Ahmad al-Darwish, 55, and Rabee Abbas, 37, were wounded after being shot at by gunmen riding a motorcycle, as they were returning from construction work on the road linking the western part of the town of #Tayzin to the Khalufiyah farm on the Hama–Masyaf road.
This is the second such attack targeting the village this month, with the #HTS-led General Security militias having failed to pursue the gunmen behind either the first attack or other attacks in the Hama countryside. This has led local residents to increasingly suspect coordination between the motorcycle-riding terrorist groups and the HTS-led GS militias. The same village had witnessed a similar attack on September 7 of this month, when an armed terrorist group opened fire on civilians in the main street on the Tal Sikkin–Kafr al-Toun road, killing young Ahmad Ali Omran, 29, at the time, and seriously wounding Nasser Saoud, 60.

❗️Israeli army seals final access route to West Bank village, isolating 47 Palestinian families
The Israeli military has closed the last remaining access route to Khirbet Ras al-Ahmar, a Palestinian village southeast of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank, completely isolating 47 families for a fifth consecutive day.
The closure follows more than two months of restrictions on dirt roads leading to the village, resident Thaer Basharat told Anadolu Agency.
Basharat said the Israeli military dug a trench across the final route five days ago, leaving residents dependent on livestock and agricultural tractors without access to basic necessities and animal feed. He described the village as a “cage” surrounded by trenches, walls, and military zones.
According to Basharat, around 360,000 dunams of grazing land were historically used by farmers in the community, but 90 percent has either been seized or placed off-limits.
He said the restrictions are aimed at forcibly displacing the entire community, as Israeli military and settler attacks on Palestinians and their property have intensified across the occupied West Bank since October 2023.
❗️US intelligence warns Saudi F-35 deal could expose sensitive technology to China
US intelligence officials have warned that a proposed $24 billion sale of F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia could potentially expose sensitive aircraft technology to Chinese espionage, The New York Times reported, citing US officials familiar with internal assessments.
According to the report, intelligence analysts are concerned that China could gain access to F-35 technology through espionage in Saudi Arabia or via Riyadh’s expanding military and security ties with Beijing. A recent Defense Intelligence Agency assessment examined Chinese military access to Saudi bases and the kingdom’s use of Chinese telecommunications equipment, while also questioning whether US and Saudi authorities could adequately secure facilities housing sensitive F-35 systems.

Lmao
Imagine being so stupid to think that saudi was ever going to get the jets. No wonder americans are losing on all fronts if their intelligence officials cant spot an obvious grift like this. Like I get it “trump bad” but trump scamming saudis of 24 billion is good for all of the american ruling class not just trump.
Well the big, bad wolf is suddenly a whimpering puppy?
As if China would care that much about this crappy aircraft model.
⭕️ According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 4 Palestinians were killed and 17 wounded in Israeli attacks across Gaza over the past 48 hours.

❗️Israeli occupation forces demolish homes in southern Lebanon and set fire to Mays al-Jabal Hospital
Israeli occupation forces carried out a new wave of demolitions in southern Lebanon, including in Mansouri and Khiam, Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported. Occupation forces also set fire to the government-run Mays al-Jabal Hospital on Friday.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry condemned the hospital’s destruction as a “full-fledged war crime.” The ministry said the recently renovated facility, equipped with advanced medical technology to serve residents of southern border areas, had suffered systematic destruction aimed at depriving civilians of basic healthcare.
I have no words. Incredibly cruel.
❗️Trump bans CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from White House over critical coverage
Expand
US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he was banning CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House, accusing the outlets of publishing what he called “fake news” about his administration.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump alleged that Politico had received an “illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription” from the US government under former president Joe Biden, claiming the payment was intended to keep the outlet “alive.”
He also warned that other media organizations could face similar restrictions.
Trump defended the move when questioned about its compatibility with First Amendment protections for a free press, saying the outlets were publishing “fake news” and accusing them of deliberately producing negative coverage to undermine his administration.
CNN condemned the announcement, defending its White House reporters’ "fair and accurate reporting” and warning that implementing the ban would constitute an “illegal assault” on constitutionally protected press freedoms.
❗️Turkiye busts Israel-linked ‘Scam Empire’ accused of defrauding victims out of $266 million
Expand
Turkish security forces have dismantled an Israel-linked fraudulent trading network accused of defrauding victims across Europe, Asia, and Africa of at least $266 million over the past two years, Turkish Justice Minister Akin Gurlek said on Friday.
The investigation targeted 42 call centers operated by 28 companies and involving 239 suspects, with coordinated dawn raids conducted at 236 locations in Istanbul and Mugla alongside Turkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and Interpol, Middle East Eye reported.
Gurlek said investigators identified individuals linked to Israel as the companies’ principal owners and ultimate beneficiaries. The operation was connected to the international criminal network known as “Scam Empire,” which allegedly used multilingual call center agents, fabricated investment profits, and overseas bank accounts and cryptocurrency wallets to defraud victims.
Turkish officials said one alleged mastermind, identified by the initials YA, is an Israeli national who also holds Portuguese citizenship.
Turkish officials said some Israel-based fraud networks had moved operations to Turkiye to avoid detection amid worsening tensions between Ankara and Tel Aviv. According to the investigation, employees were allegedly trained to use false identities and fabricated personal backgrounds to gain victims’ trust, while Israeli citizens were reportedly prohibited from being targeted.
The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) has previously documented similar investment fraud operations involving call centers in Israel, Eastern Europe, and Georgia.
❗️Turkiye revokes Iran’s Bank Mellat license after 44 years
Turkiye’s Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) has revoked the operating license of Iran’s Bank Mellat, ending the Iranian lender’s 44-year presence in the country. The decision was issued on 18 September and published in the Official Gazette today.
The regulator cited provisions of Turkiye’s banking law allowing licenses to be revoked if a bank’s continued operations are deemed to threaten depositors’ rights or the stability of the financial system.
The notice did not provide further details though this comes amid increased US pressure on Ankara to tighten economic measures against Iran, following Washington’s recent sanctions on a Turkish investment bank and Turkiye’s decision to halt Mahan Air flights from Tehran beginning 21 September.
❗️Taliban warns Pakistan of ‘crushing response’ to any strikes inside Afghanistan
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid warned Pakistan against conducting military operations inside Afghanistan, while dismissing Islamabad’s allegations that armed groups are using Afghan territory to launch cross-border attacks.
In an exclusive interview with Al-Arabiya English, Mujahid said Afghanistan would defend its sovereignty if Pakistan carried out strikes on its territory.
“If Pakistan invokes Article 51 to violate the sanctity of Afghan territory, Afghanistan has the right to defend its country, and we will do so,” he said, warning of a “crushing response” to any violation of Afghan sovereignty.
