Most Americans do not seem to care.

They think the wealthy should be entitled to anything.

It seems a lot of countries thought capitulation would make Trump treat them nice.

I hope they can learn from Canada and Iran’s examples.

We use to have a different term for that before WWII. I believe we called it appeasement

It’s the same reason why any US military adventurism in Canada is extremely stupid. We know you fucks too well, much better than you know us. We know exactly how to hurt you and you’re too arrogant to even think we can.

You don’t invade a country where they all are better educated than you, have better wealth equality than you, look and talk exactly like you, and have an endless supply of ANFO. It would be the troubles 10x and we can send fully equipped sabotage raids basically anywhere in your homeland. The border is too large to defend.

Trump has spent much of his second term flouting the longtime convention of U.S. administrations avoiding direct involvement in other countries’ elections.

This must be written by AI.

When has the US not interfered in other countries elections?

That’s been a significant part of the CIA’s operations since the agency was created.

I see this comment on basically every news article these days. The sentence you quoted is bog standard journalistic style.

the longtime convention of U.S. administrations avoiding direct involvement in other countries’ elections.

When has the US ever not interfered in the elections of other countries? Nothing but AI could be that delusional. Trump is flouting some conventions but in this regard, there is nothing to flout.

Dunno why you are getting down votes. The US has been interfering in other countries elections since AT LEAST World War 2.

I think you underestimate how delusional humans are. Also, the point here is direct involvement, usually they’re more subtle.
