As a true centrist, I love compromise. I recognize that the left and left-of-center’s stated position is that they want to end the cruelty that ICE and other agencies use when enforcing immigration law. I recognize that the rights stated position is that they don’t want people to be in the United States illegally.

My compromise to make everyone happy is this: Repeal all immigration laws. It’s legal to enter the United States for any reason, for as long as you want. Everyone is happy here. The right is happy because there are no more people entering or staying illegally. The left is happy because if there are no laws against immigration, there’s no need to enforce any laws. So everyone is happy here, what I like as a true centrist!
