Need to get stickers of this to put on all these awful posters
Got a digital version for you; knock yourself out if you want to make some stickers

Love it!
But AI cannot make art regardless IMO. I mean real Art.
Nice to see a fellow printmaker on lemmy.
What paper did you use? What about the inks?
This is just some kind of cardstock; nothing fancy. Inks are both speedball. Still feel like I have a long way to go in terms of inking consistency; lmk if you have tips.
The inconsistency in the inking is honestly better
I’ve had bad luck with acrylic based inks. The oil (water soluble) ones look way better.
Here are my tips for using it.
-
I bought an elastic clothes line with clips and hung up in my apartment out of the way because the ink takes a few days to dry fully. Use this to hang your prints while they dry.
-
Although the ink says it’s water soluble, here is something important about clean up. Firstly, slather all components (roller and plate) in dawn dish soap first BEFORE adding water. Or you won’t ever get that ink off. Secondly. You still will probably need to use some paint thinner to fully clean everything.
Clean as best you can with soap and water. Dry off with paper towels then use thinner to get the rest off.
- my last tip is the brayer. I started with some medium priced ones I got online somewhere. Generic no brand. Black roller.
No. These are bad. Get the speedball brand one. The tan roller. This made such a huge big gigantic difference. The speedball ones are expensive. But it’s worth it. Maybe that’s what you are using already. If not, try to get one.
Also kudos on a 2 color print. Multicolor is extra work and a bit challenging. 💜

Nice print, let me replicate it using a computer. . .
Let me view it using a machine. . . .
I love using computers and machines for tasks like this too
"G"s are hard to do backwards, aren’t they?
Looks more like just going for a straight line look.
I am proud of you.
Yesss 💯
Soooo cool😍
