Dr. Phlox is my absolute favorite Star Trek character, he has just such a great demeanor, like, you could so easily be friends with him.
Same here … I’m currently on season 2 with Enterprise … first time watching the series and I’m thoroughly enjoying it and yes Phlox is a definite favourite … just an unassuming intelligent, bright, positive character … even if he steals a celery stick from your plate.
I also love watching scenes where he is like a mad scientist at times … he spills some mystery fluid on his clothing in the medical bay and Archer asks him if he safe and if the material is poisonous or dangerous - Phlox wipes up some of the goo with his finger and tastes it and says ‘I don’t think so’.

Yeah Julian’s such a cutie. At least later in the show; he’s a little gross in the early seasons but Alexander Siddig is damn handsome always though.
I think he would have made a really good Reed Richards.
