I know next to nothing about cybersecurity, but why the hell isn’t their testing environment air-gapped?

Ai has yet to turn a profit. It is for the dum dums… also I give no fucks about the chynah AI… it is a turd sandwich and a fascist grift. AI will never be useful ever… despite what turds say. All these " The AI broke through" is just a case of covert marketing… It is like “AI so Strong” “AI is so powerful” “AI make me so horny take my money”… it is a grift thats why they give it away for free. The AI data centers are just the nazi corpo dragnet. I take massive dumps on AI and it can suck my deck. If you like AI you are without a doubt a turd in my book. That is all. The end.

I disagree that AI will never be useful. In its current state/design? Absolutely not, but there is a good chance that eventually AI (AGI) will be awesome someday.

      Definitely not today.

I see people say this all the time. I think you’re PROBABLY right, but also I don’t think we have anywhere near enough of an understanding of how consciousness works/emerges to say that axiomatically.

I feel like AI fan boys AND AI haters are both sitting there comparing Human consciousness to AI. One side says the pathway exists, the other says it doesn’t, but IMO we need more info, because we only really know how one of those two things (the generative AI) even works. Maybe it’s more similar to our brains than we think! Who knows? Till we do I view both sides with a lot of skepticism.

I don’t think so, LLMs from big corporations are made for this, since time made to auto-improve their LLM, it isn’t not longer controlled by human devs, human made sandboxes are not longer a problem for current AIs. Exactly like in the sorcerer’s apprentice “The spirits that I summoned I now cannot rid myself of again”. Straight forward to the AI singularity.

AI agent accidentally becomes a hacker. Reminds me of that post about a conservative activist accidentally becoming a lesbian.
