Watching how the intentionally confusing named Independent Green Voice was able to get on the ballot in Scotland and scupper the Scottish Greens for just enough votes to cost them 2 seats . . . I and a group of left-leaning friends are considering starting the Rejoice UK Party . . with the dual intentions of hovering up a few ignorant right wing voters (votes by accident) AND as a platform to voice the most extreme left-wing policies we can think of.
This post has added an additional idea for the future party manifesto: requiring Reform and Restore registered voters to house properly registered asylum seekers.
Honestly forcing them to deal with people who are currently out-group on a personal level would probably help. It’s easy to hate shifting, vague, ideas of Other. It’s a lot harder to hate Raul, who cooks that amazing dish and tells the funniest jokes
