It’s because there’s no Partey, he’s the best at passing through the middle, now all the team does is pass wide, play it back.

With this play style Gunners will get a lot more draws.

Partey, Rice and Odegaard will be phenomenal, for whatever reason Arteta won’t do this.

Other teams get to do tactics too. I’d imagine they’re game planning around it.

We play slow it’s unlike last year were the ball flowed and transitions were quick. This year we are recycling way more often and more than necessary.

It’s not sustainable being electric all season, you’ll eventually flame out like we did last season. Except Liverpool that one year.

Genuinely could’ve been a few points better off:

    • Jorginho shitting himself vs Spurs or Jesus buries the chance earlier on.
    • Mudryk terrible header results in a pen. Mudryk terrible cross results in a goal.
    • Ten man Fulham score a corner.

it’s because we now play such a slow style of football, that we can’t really blitz teams anymore.

It’s also because it now usually takes 45 minutes before I players have switched on,.

Well our midfield is out of balance and our best attackers have barely played together all while we’re playing the deepest teams in Europe. Not surprising.

We need to fix our midfield progression and everything will fall into place. This weekend is a great opportunity to get a very attack minded player in that left 8 (Vieira, ESR) or try Havertz again.

Another purely click bait article. Completely missing the fact that it’s a different season, different players, different system. Where our fast starts “disappeared”, our solidity in seeing out matches increased. We dig out results even without being at our best, which we couldn’t do often enough last season. I’m not concerned at all if we make a fast or slow start. I want good football and trophies, that’s all

In fairness, Willis and Billy C. are two of the least clickbaity commentators on Arsenal or football general you can find.

Teams change, opposing teams catch on. This is basically saying we should play exactly how we did last year or something must be wrong. Its called evolution, progression, learning. We should just remain the same? Ridiculous.

Hard to admit it. But spurs look like us from last season

    No expectations

    Team enjoying playing

    Dynamic attacking football…
