I thought it was going to be

I kinda like this as a solution as well. Still completely wipes the swastika and adds niche humor.
Ah yes, miscarriage. Classic comedy.
Honestly, it’s more metahumor at this point.

Came here looking for this comment.
Gonna carry a sharpie around with me for When that skinhead with the tattoo on the metro falls asleep.
I prefer to make them into loss but you do you

I prefer this smaller version:

I like that, even though it’s plainly not reversing the swastika.
That’s both wholesome and at the same time too much work for something that’s probably getting defaced the next day.
I like the one with the trash can better.
Yeah but nazis tend to draw the swastika the flipped.
looks at step two
step one will do it
“connect the outside lines”
That’s enough you made Windows logo
That’s still a Nazi logo
Understandable.
You can add little triangles to the end lines of each arm then a small building underneath and a swastika is now a windmill
Lately I’ve been working on this theory that the strife in the 20th century was the result of abusive and ridiculous 19th century parenting styles.
There was plenty of strife in the 19th century too but the weapons available were not as destructive.
Imagine the US civil war if one side had invented nukes.
Imagine the Napoleonic wars if Napoleon had tanks.
I wonder if Harry Turtledove wrote about that?
Can i get this in sticker form please?
I would prefer it if people reclaimed them instead of overwriting them. Like turning them into the center of colorful mandalas.
I would be nice if people were reminded more often that it is a wrongfully appropriated symbol, and anyone who willingly gives it away is acting as an accomplice to that, whether they realize it or not.
Just add 4 dots and it’s the Hindu swastika.
With two large caveats immediately apparent to anyone familiar with Hinduism:
-
the Hindu Swastika is not at 45° tilt
-
the Hindu Swastika is traditionally also never drawn in black, as far as I’ve personally seen. It’s usually red / saffron.
I’m Indian and Hindu. Please don’t try to explain my own religion to me. It can be drawn in black.
Hello from one Indian Hindu to another 👋
It can be drawn in black.
Hence my italicized “personally”. I’ve just never seen it in black.

An example.
Sorry about the quality… I downloaded it (it’s my own photo, just not on my phone) and it appeared in the thumbnail for a random album, but wasn’t in the album. Or any album. So it’s a crop of the album thumbnail.
Project Swastik was a roads improvement programme in northern India. The swastika symbolises protection and it’s ubiquitous in India (and Asia).
