I’m worried about MO. Can we not give Odegaard a rest at the weekend, the guy looks absolutely shattered? And I really think the internationals and the results have affected him more than we realise.
Arteta might want to bench him, but does ode wants it? He has so many players that wants to take his RMF position unlike Saka. ESR, Vieira, or even Havertz could take his place for good
Sometimes it’s not about what the player wants, but what the player needs.
Him being benched for one match isn’t going to hurt him or his position, because respectfully, none of those aforementioned players are anywhere near his level.
