I don’t know why you’d still be going on about ‘fairness’ when Mikel and the club gave him a new contract and then went on to sign Raya less than 2 months afters. At this level, unless u can sign a Haaland from a Jesus for a very specific output, most player upgrades are going be incrementals and an incremental signing is always going to feel ‘unfair’.
