After their EFL Cup game, Chelsea have Tottenham, City, Newcastle, Brighton, and Utd.
After watching the full game again, they can do some serious work against those teams. It’s a rough schedule but I think they can get draws out of Tottenham, City, and Newcastle.
What they did yesterday was a perfect scheme for us that doesn’t translate well to other matchups imo. We were just uncharacteristically poor. We had overload everywhere high up. I’m not sold on them yet. I think with Nkunku they will be a different proposition but until then, I think they are in for a reality check very soon.
