Watch Arteta’s post game interview after City. He effectively said he wants the GK playing those risky passes out the back no matter the pressure, and if it doesn’t work out to blame him. Raya is willing to do it, while Ramsdale has literally come out and admitted he’s tried to compromise with the Gaffer, but if it’s too risky he’ll boot it.
Regardless of how it looks Raya is playing exactly how Arteta wants. Ramsdale has essentially no chance of getting his spot back

For real. Starboy had a near identical goal a couple seasons ago. We were happy with the goal, but nobody with half a brain considered it some great skill OR a mistake by the keeper. He was lucky. So was Mudryk. Any keeper who stops that was horribly out of position for the cross it should have been.
