IMO it’s a bit complicated but he’s not a good “keeper” of the ball like Jorginho. That’s why I’m thinking the next midfield recruitment won’t be a stereotypical CDM(Lavia). It will be more like a Jorginho or a “passing” CM. See players like Gundogan, Kroos, FdJ. You could include Locatelli and Zubimendi too.
So, Chelsea are a very energetic side. You need to hide the ball as much as possible because you’re not going to outrun them. They recruited heavily on the physical. So, hide the ball because they also suck at keeping it.
