When did the transition from catgirl majority to puppygirl majority happen? I feel like back in the 2010s the market was oversaturated with catgirls.

As fashions shift I suppose. We had a huge nekomimi thing forever and eventually a generation grew with that oversaturated market and went the other way.

Eventually the pendulum will return to cat girl supremacy era.

i wonder if it’s a cyclical thing and we will go back to cat girls in a bit, or if maybe the bunny girls will rise next

Given a long enough period of time it will all eventually turn towards crab girl

I heard that there was a study done and those who transitioned before COVID were catgirl and those after were puppies.

if this is true thats amazing

its true for me at least! i transitioned right before COVID and was 100% catgirl. had to detransition for a bit sadly, and when i transitioned again after COVID i became very puppy inclined. now im some weird amalgamation of both. hence the name puppycat :3

In my little bubble, most bunny girls are lesbians or mtf. Cat girls tend to be edgy but otherwise straight, and puppy girl is full spectrum, but divided by breed or feral/pet lines.

Maybe it’s like amphibians and as global temperatures rise we see external stimuli encourage puppy girls instead of cat girls. This may be yet another irreversible trend of damage on our beautiful planet 😢
