This is what I don’t get. They’re spending more than enough money to compete for titles and ECL. Why twerk for Saudi? To spend even more?
Qatar but it’s hinestly more that they culd actually be spending more if the Glazers didn’t take dividends and loans out against the club.
That’s the truly terrifying thing about Man U that those olde enought to remember when Fergie and Gill were in charge pre glazers; they absolutely could outspend anyone in the league and even when sport washing and the glazers showed up they competed with city and chelsea.
Man U with owners that even just don’t take anything out and care about sorting their club out will be terrifying.
Luckily that looks a very, very long way off.
To your point it won’t be easy for them to get good owners they may get even worse without a good sporting director…
To be honest the glazers are utterly useless.
Since Daddy Glazer died the kids just see Man U as a US style cash cow.
