Ted n me went on an adventure to the park. He found sitting down to be easiest. He loved looking at all the birds tho some did not like him, he sniffed the sniffs and watched ducks swimming and people and cars on the busy streets but he was glad to be home and sat up once we got back to our little courtyard

Went to see psych today and they said how I’ve been masking and it’s understandable that I don’t know who I am. Literally on session 10. We’ve done a heap of case formulation, now to finally using the skills.

So the results are… nothing 😒No Buruli Ulcer but no anything else either. Doctor wants to just hand ball me to specialist. I showed him pictures I’d taken and said is it likely to be a form of Pityriasis. He agreed it could be, but said he wouldn’t like to guess. Funny, he didn’t mind guessing it was Impetigo and had me take antibiotics for a week while I was petrified I had an infectious disease. I said seeing as I’ve been using cortisone on it and it’s helping, can I get a script for more (I’m using miniest’s tube and it’s almost ran out) and he ummed and ahhed about that and said that because he wasn’t sure what it was he didn’t really want to prescribe anything. As for the specialist, $365 is absolutely no dice. It’s just not doable. It’s already cost me a day’s pay for this.

Some viruses can leave people with weird rashes, good to hear it’s responding to some treatment.

That’s fucked up. I mean, glad it isn’t buruli, but what else could it be?

It isn’t psoriasis is it? That responds to cortisone (I think) and is caused by everything from simple stress to other shitty diseases. If you send me a pic I can see if it looks like my psoriasis lol I think you still have my mobile number.

The Dr prolly is hesitant to prescribe cortisone without knowing what it is, as cortisone can make it worse. But if it’s helping… 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sorry that it’s so expensive. It fucking sucks how much a specialist can be, when not covered by insurance or Medicare. Ugh.

I’m not sure how much of your body it might be over but you might either be able to get away with some low level cortisone or maybe behind the counter from the chemist that might help.

The thought of my baby nephew having to go through even a fraction of the challenges I’ve had to live through in this sick world just breaks my fucking heart.

The thought of that sweet innocent child exposed to any of the dangers I’ve had to face makes me die inside.

And unfortunately I’m still living through those same dangers and trying to stay alive myself. So if and when he faces those dangers I’m not sure what resources I have to help him, since I apparently don’t have the answers.

I think I’ve only got prayers left at this point.

The one thing I can do if I die is at least leave him what I have in a will.

Miss Seagoon is an adult and I still worry sick. She should be ok tho as the fam will have left her enough to at least have a home.

There’s a life hack where you can buy food from a super market and just put the seeds from the food in dirt then boom, free food. Unless you’re doing exotics, they’re very low maintenance to the point where keeping them under control and not having too much food is the hardest problem.

Also, there’s nothing stopping you or your nephew moving abroad for a far lower cost of living. South America is beautiful, Japan has cheap houses with land, and so on.

Parents might have an issue with me abducting their child and taking them to a foreign country lol but it’s an intriguing idea.

Wasn’t able to do my first aid class last week, but was put into the other class for it this week. In class today and tomorrow so I have to catch up on the theory classes tomorrow, over the weekend.

Very appreciative that they could slot me into this one, so I don’t have to pay out of pocket for a private one lol.

And there’s nothing more I love than going to campus when it’s spring. Thankful my animal course is at the same place they do horticulture. Wandering around the greenhouses and the grounds with all the beautiful plants and flowers, really improves my mental health. So many butterflies, bugs, flowers, buds, the smell of spring. It’s just a magical place when it’s sunny.

Anyone else bank with ME? Have recently been moved over from ME “classic” to ME Go. It seems to have replaced one buggy app with another buggy app with slightly more features, and the local call centre with a chat+call centre overseas.

It’s not really a problem if you rarely need to get in touch with your bank, but if there ever is a problem (which there have been a couple) you can expect to wait 30+ minutes for someone to answer. I guess the fact their interest rates are the best on the market makes up for it?

Nah. I’m with Macquarie. I hate to say it, but they have been great. My homeloan rates seems to be pretty good compared to other folks who didnt lock theres in during better times.

Little Old Dog was sedated on Monday for Xrays and is still quite wobbly. He’s a little more lost than usual (this morning he got stuck between a bookcase and a wall in an area of the house he rarely ventures to), so it’s time to Senile Dog proof the house. Poor littlest love!

Been awhile since I’ve used 7-11 fuel lock but they’ve capped the discount to 25c a litre now which effectively makes the discount useless.

I hated 7-11 to begin with now I’m really not going to buy from them anymore.

I think it’s caught a lot of people off guard, even myself earlier this year and I’ve only just realised why I ended up paying more than I should have.

Anyway sucks for that lady who only just realised at the counter.
