This is pretty good timing for this topic, especially here on lemmygrad.ml we have been bringing this topic up multiple times.

PSL’s candidates Claudia & Karina even mention how income would be capped, though they do mention locking up war criminals and Wall Street con men (which would still be under a prison system designed for rehabilitation and reeducation):

All income and assets over ten million dollars would be subject to a 100% tax – with no exceptions or loopholes – as would all offshore corporate profits. All debt from student loans, bail bonds, medical and utility bills would be canceled.

Watched a bit of it. It talks as though “socialism” were some revolution we’re gonna do next year, the way teenagers talk about, “After the revolution, will there be…”

Maybe he gets into history and back to reality later, but I’m not giving it any more time.

Second Thought is purposefully being a gateway to real theory, the teenager talk is because they appeal to them with a simpler worldview

Might be good Imo, creating a pipeline from Second Thought to The Deprogram to actually reading Lenin

I can’t watch it right now, but my first thought upon seeing the title was “Several countries in Europe are socialist. What happens to the rich people there? They do still exist.” That seems like a good place to look for an answer.
