This is the kind of behavior I’d expect of an edgy 12 year old. That weird kid who sat in the back of the class and carved shit into the desk. Is this really the look republican voters want from their representation? I thought they looked up to manly portrayals of men. Men who said little, but exuded strength from their actions. Is this really how they want to be portrayed. It’s just cringey and embarrassing.

Oh I’m aware. I’m just questioning republican MAGA voter’s perception. I’ve worked in construction most of my adult life and even in my childhood I spent much of my time around the real macho old school conservative types. I just don’t understand how anyone who looked up to the classic strongman stereotype of a man can support such an obvious “pansy”. In their eyes the ideal man was strong, silent, honorable, hard working, tough, courageous, the all American cowboy archetype.
Trump is none of those things. This video is just another of many examples of what an absolute pathetic loser he is and yet republicans still continue to allow him to represent them. I’d be embarrassed to be in the same party as him and I’m the furthest thing from a republican. I just don’t get it.

Beyond how puerile it is, the thing that gets me is how it doesn’t meaningfully interact with the protests. Flying a jet to literally fling poo doesn’t say the protests are wrong or cast them in any particular light. Do you really believe he was even smart enough to make this? Not only would he have to know where to go online, then figure out the correct prompt, then figure out how to get past the restrictions for creating famous people. There were no doubt plenty of cameras recording them as they protested, all being fed into the facial recog servers. This picture isn’t getting anyone on a list they weren’t already on.

I feel like if you were there unmasked you gave implicit consent for your face to be photographed. Obviously there will be press, and just normal people taking pictures. This wasn’t Portland after curfew, it’s a suburban Saturday morning.
That’s not the point. You’re ALLOWED to show their faces. Buddy’s asking you to do them a solid and NOT show their faces anyway. While it may not make a practical difference a lot of the time, it’s an important principle and the more it’s practiced, the more effective it becomes.
