2·19 days agoNot just garden hose, public lawn sprinklers were also free and available hydrating source. Even when off you could always find some water if you sucked hard enough. Tasted a bit rusty.
This is before purified wastewater / greywater used for irrigation.

Do schools still have shop classes? Back in my days, elementary school had home economics for girls and wood shop for the boys, And welding/metal shop for boys in general high school. A few years later they remove all such shops.

I had a non-IT boss that used to power off and on an entire rack when one of their VMs acted funny, without notifying anyone. Some of the servers were production. I’m not sure a sign would help and dogs do not like the cold.
