I just “setup as new” a few days ago. I had a couple of bugs that had been so long standing I was convinced it had to be something wrong with my setup only and it was carrying over when I was restoring from backups. These bugs had followed me through multiple iPhone versions and multiple major iOS versions.

After doing the full reset and “setup as new”…those bugs still exist and it was a wasted effort.

Restoring from backup is fine.

I’m still annoyed that we can’t get NHL Live Scores natively like we can other some other sports.

I spent about an hour at the dealership with the BMW Genius. Interesting results.

We checked another employee’s car that matched mine. 2023 X3 M40i. They also were not receiving traffic information.

The BMW Genius then checked his own car, a BMW i4 with iDrive 8…and he was getting traffic information so looks to us like some kind of issue with iDrive 7.5 and something on the services end.

Who knows. A shame if this is a regular occurrence. I’d find the combo of losing Spotify the bigger annoyance if I used it.
