I think at most this is a misunderstanding. That is, they actually hand over 10 units on the night, but deliveries will also take place at the service centers, maybe on Dec 1st if not the same night.

As Cathie woods pointed out, if you simply double production you get one level of price reduction. If you also work hard on developing the production methods, you get more of a reduction.

Update Wednesday, November 15, 11:13 a.m.: The state of Oklahoma contacted InsideEVs to deny Canoo’s claim that deliveries of LDV electric vans to Oklahoma’s Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) have begun.

“To clarify, OMES has not purchased vehicles at this time, and no vehicles have been delivered to the state. However, we do plan to purchase three vehicles by the end of the year. This is a small detail, but we wanted to make sure it was reported accurately,” a spokesperson for OMES told us via email.
