I bought a 80k mile 2000 Boxster S that “needed some work” but had already had IMS, Clutch and Flywheel done. It still took about 7k in parts and 1k in labor I couldn’t do myself to get it mostly sorted.

The new Dakar would be excellent daily around the terrible Midwest roads.

Non turbo Mazda’s don’t tend to have many issues. They should have replaced both belts when the first one went general rule of thumb to replace all accessory belts at the same time.
