Hi, I’m sbird! I like to make all sorts of things!
yk, fair enough. if you like it, that’s fine by me
yep, the app is SLOW
I’ve tried tuta before. It seems pretty okay, but it doesn’t support IMAP meaning you have to use their app, and (at least for me) it was SLOW.
I personally use disroot, but there’s loads of other options, like mailfence seems like a decent alternative. Just pick one that supports IMAP
i appreciate your attempt :)
for me:
that’s true
still pretty interesting though
I’m looking for ones where the chemical formulae is a valid one for a real compound. Don’t think “princess” is a real chemical compound
sodium bromate?
yep I’ve added that audio is subjective and your own picks may vary. also, I’ve edited the note on jabra from an angry warning to a small note saying that they won’t make new elite buds, since it seems that warranty for them is fine (hooray for consumers!)
yep okay i’ve fixed it
oop okay bc I remember hearing about only 2 years of after-sale support. is warranty for the jabra elites fine then?
Jabra left the consumer audio market, meaning that they have stopped producing new Jabra Elite buds and warranty and such may not be guaranteed. They are providing support for I think two years. (they left in 2024, so that would mean support might end by 2026?)
Yeah, audio is quite subjective. Maybe I should add a note saying that.
Thanks for the criticism! It really helps!
ok, I see. It seems that MIT let you do whatever with the code, whereas GPL seems like the same thing, but with an * that any derivatives must be open-source as well. I’ll put the license on my repos then.
oh okay, what’s the best license? what’s the difference between CC, MIT, etc.
I’ll look at setting up python virtual environments later, they seem pretty important to at least learn how to use
yep, I’ve added MSRPs of the CPUs as well as the current amazon list pricing (not GPUs though since rn GPU pricing is wild, e.g. 4070 ti super listed for $1000 or something like that)
what if there’s loads of different elements where the colour could he changed such as texts, links, and different ohjects like the nav bar?
what do those do?
prices are not dynamic unfortunately, I just searched the prices on either the brand’s website or a relevant retailer (Amazon, B&H Photo, Crutchfield, etc.)
Wirecutter I’ve heard of, they at least seem more trustworthy than other reviewers that base their picks on what gives them the most affiliate revenue.
I would say Wirecutter does best when reviewing things like bed sheets and hair dryers (typical everyday stuff). Things like audio I would rather watch a dedicated reviewer over Wirecutter.
Also, keep in mind that Wirecutter does use affiliate links, so make sure to see other reviews as well :)
