I still think Spurs will phase out as they have no depth. But they are doing all the basics right and not making any mistakes.
But i will honestly admit how wrong I was about their summer recruitment.
Levy is the toughest negotiator in football, so he is just unable to overpay for players. Thats why spurs make their worst signings when they are in position of strength. Many are desperate signings with inflated fees.
However, whenever they are at position of weakness, true levy rises. He can go for players big clubs does not need, he goes after them and drives a very hard bargain.
Amazing that they signed Vicario, Van de ven and Maddison with no competition at all and at prices which can be considered bargain.
Van de ven is so fast, like ridiculously fast for a CB. He is more faster than strikers of atleast 10 clubs in PL. Actually with his pace, size and quality, he could be considered in Van de dijk category in few seasons.
