A few thoughts I’ve been having, just some rambles from the loudest part of my brain.

1. We need as a fanbase to get rid of the mentality that some cups don’t matter, saw it last season with the Europa League where it was a small minority of us really disappointed. Same as last night the culture is to win, we got a ghadamn dog called win for that reason. It matters that we’re out. I truly hope Mikel makes them feel it like he was in his post match interviews.

2. This is more about football now, did any of you guys watch the Tifo video the dropped about Arsenal the other day. Basically it was about why we’re not so good going forward anymore, we create less, score less and we’re less dynamic. One of the things they brought up was that Declan Rice isn’t yet cut out to be our number 6 in build up, something I noticed as well (this is no slight on the boy he has been our best player this season). I was wondering given the fact tha Rice still isn’t comfortable enough recieving the ball with his back to the opponent deep in the middle which is why he has been used more as an 8 over the last few weeks, would it not be better (just a thought don’t crucify me) to play Zinchenko at 6, he is clearly one of our most comfortable players when receiving the ball deep in build up, he isn’t quite a left back anyway and that’s always been a position to just get him in the team. Given he is struggling defensively at left back and Tomi seems to be in some form wouldn’t it be better to have Zinny in that 6 role instead. On the ball the guy seems made for it. This could help us add more goals into our team cause we are really struggling for central penetration.

Sentiment not facts, Raya is by far the better goalkeeper. You just aren’t accustomed to our goalkeeper playing it short as many times as Raya does because Rams knocks it long so often which is counter productive to the coaches whole plan. Also Raya makes far fewer mistakes and also why does everyone suddenly not remember the second half of last season? Rams was atrocious, I remember seeing a stat saying that he was in the bottom half of goalkeepers for save percentage and shots per goal conceded. It isn’t even close between the 2, Raya at the moment is wayyyyyyyyyyyy clear.
