I want ESR to succeed here so badly. I wasn’t seeing anything that made me think he was seizing his opportunity. 7+ is surprising.
what I see is a team who gets surprised. It has to be a different mindset now. We are the team people pin in their calendar. We are the team people get amped up differently to play against. We are a measuring stick squad now. that’s an adjustment the team has to get comfortable with.
It still catches the team by surprise, IMO.
