I don’t trust Brave, there’s too much money tied up in it for it to be good for users.

I recently moved the old archive to a new drive and started adding to it again. The enshittification of all the things is real, seems like if it’s something I’d like to re-watch or listen to the only sane way I’ll be able to do so is by making sure I have a copy some company can’t yoyo around.

Yeah I’m realizing the fediverse feels so homey because it seems dominated by people old enough to remember the internet of the 90s, the ones that knew AOL was not the entire internet or even ‘web’ proper. We’re already acclimated to an internet where ‘discoverability’ took a little more elbow grease.

I understand your sentiment but factually inaccurate is factually inaccurate and a disservice to the reader.
