Every time I open a fortune cookie, I always get the exact same fortune, every single time: “This paper has been coated with a food-safe laminate.”

I watched it based on a recommendation from someone on the Reddit DT and I promised myself I would go back and chat with them about it… but I never did… Anywhoo, interested to hear what your thoughts are when you get to the end of the series.
Coffee, please, light milk, no sugar thanks. Oh, and a slice of damn fine cherry pie.
Coulda been home made 😏

Ooh thanks. I’ll look up class 5 and choose something stylish. Thanks baunch!
Are they primarily for listening to music while also blocking out noise? I’m looking into them and thanks for the suggestion but just to be clear, I only really need the noise cancelling aspect / hearing protection aspect. Unless these have some additional benefit over a non-chargable set of earmuffs I’m not seeing?
[edit] oh, and the noise will be intermittent, if that helps. Like, one blast of noise every 15-30 seconds or so. Like hummm BZZT hummm BZZT, etc.
Anyone here have experience with hearing protection in a noisy work environment? As in machine noise? Any brands that are better (or the best) to look out for? Price is not really a factor here - I’d like to pay for quality in this instance.
Years and years and years ago when I was desperate and was applying for anything, I applied online for Krispy Kreme and it was legitimately an hour’s worth of torturous round a bout questions which culminated in asking for you to record and send them a video of yourself pitching why you wanted to work at Krispy Kreme.
I was exhausted at that point, found some way around doing that part of the endurance marathon, and wrote a MASSIVE essay in the comments section about how horrible the whole process of applying for a job at Krispy Kreme was and how crazy it was to do all of this just to get your resume in front of someone so they could decide whether or not they were going to interview the applicant.
Several months later, they rejected my application.
37 here. The message is a reference to Welcome Back, Kotter. A show which most people are unaware actually had George Carlin in one episode!
