I recently quit facebook due to rampant russian propaganda, unmoderated communities full of far left or far right (same thing really) bots and constant, rampant scams and ai posts. There is no reason to ever rate a game badly. If it runs poorly or not at all youre the moron for using banana instead of tomato. If you don’t like it cause the game is not good, its your own fault for making a dish following a curry recepie when you hate curry.

What are your issues? My problems were games on ntfs filesystem and secureboot. After fixing those two i can say windows is terrible and requires tons of tinkering to get things working as opposed to linux where you just plug it in and it chugs.

I had no interest in linux half a year ago and now I go around telling people that linux is less tinkering and headaches to play games and use daily than windows (cause it is)

If it don’t work on linux cause it was made for windows, fine. Console software doesn’t run on any os natively for example and I aint mad. If it is following the trend of “it works on linux but we ticked a box on our anticheat so it doesn’t” then I am a bit upset.

Steam vr works for a ton of people flawlessly. I only have jitter issues but most have told me theirs works fine. So ymmv as there are people on windows who have vr issues too.

Both have been seeing significant improvements recently or have been gotten working. You can test most recent fedora without installing to see if it works.

In my experience linux runs every game I want and has done it with less issues, crashes and tinkering than it was on windows 11. I constantly see posts from windows users about how some game doesn’t work or crashes while it runs fine on both deck and pc. Only games not working are those that are disabled by devs to scapecoat massive amount of hackers onto linux users.

But fuck linux users for rating a game bad cause developers made a deliverate descision to block their system cause “all linux users are cheaters.”

With meta on your resume you can easily find employment or freelance. Tech people have widely applicable and desired skills. Hell they could even move to a non 3rd world country and be better off.

I’m ex soviet living in a country where all the things you want are reality. And where those violent ones you don’t want were a reality. Only the latter part is being mostly idealized. There is as much normalization of violence going on in the left meme circles as there are in the right ones and I don’t get why it’s okay to be a faschist casually calling for mass murder of undesireables as long as the symbol on the red flag is yellow. I mean if the game you paid money for is deliberately broken to shaft you, you are a clown for reviewing the game positively. Judging by the complaints of every game with linux-breaking anti cheat, it has failed to remove any of the cheaters.
