I haven’t replaced a head unit in years, but I’m not surprised the proprietary systems require custom components for replacement. I can’t count the amount of head units I’ve replaced with my own ‘custom’ wire harness to save the $15 it cost for the Metra adapter. Lol
That’s when the first kaiju made landfall in San Francisco.
Brought to you by Carl’s Jr.
Fascinating. They’re much older than that of the sources I’ve read. Thanks for the link!
My point about the difference between public vs private prisons being independent of prisons that participate in indentured servitude still stands. One does not imply the other.
Great point. The Gallup poll was performed shortly after Trump’s inauguration as well. Bias may have been the point.
As did Hitler. Lol
Exactly the line that stood out to me as well. There is way too much liberty in that wording, especially following a point of support for the death penalty.
Fucking Dubya beat Biden? Who the fuck are they polling?
So that’s what Prince meant.
Oh, it absolutely does. Do you know who enforces compliance with constitutional law? The US Marshalls, who report to the Department of Justice.
Well, the Justice Department made us one anyway. As of February 5th, they have permission to respond to unfair criticism.
Protecting Law Enforcement Personnel. One of the Department of Justice’s top priorities is protecting law enforcement at the federal, state, and local levels who protect us all. This includes aggressively investigating the all-too-common instances of violence against and obstruction of law enforcement, seeking the death penalty for those who perpetrate capital crimes against law enforcement, and backing and promoting the efforts of law enforcement when they are subjected to unfair criticism or attack.
Don’t forget her important work in pre-prepared lasagna after her marriage to Count Callender!
Oh he’s one of the good ones. A lifetime of law enforcement, and he used the woke library money to break ground on a cop city to keep New Yorkers safe.
🖕I’m doing this as hard as I can.
If Congress were fully briefed on Cambridge Analytica’s methods during the 2016 election, they wouldn’t have needed another ‘shocking’ presentation on the manipulative methods of TikTok.
The fact that so many of them were blown away by the influence an algorithm could have on the vote just reaffirms my impression of their lack of comprehension. The least they could have done was screen “The Great Hack” in the Capitol building.
It’s never lupus, except for that time it was lupus.
Good point. At least my vomit tastes like coffee.
I can’t imagine many will sell. It’s paradoxical in nature.
What self-respecting white supremacist is willing to enrich a black man to wear ‘their own’ symbol of hate? Imagine wearing a Yestika tee to your weekly cross burning. What a terribly embarrassing faux pas.
Slavery is independent of prison ownership. You’re referring to involuntary servitude versus the abolished chattel slavery. Privatization is an additional layer of systemic oppression.
Private prisons may or may not partake in indentured servitude. In addition to participating in the constitutionally protected slavery, they have far more systemic problems than public prisons. The goal is to spend as little as possible to meet minimum legal requirements in order to maximize profit (it’s a business, after all). Many of these for-profit prisons are infrequently or improperly evaluated, leading to far worse conditions than governmentally run prisons. There have also been countless cases of people being denied parole to maintain minimum headcount.
Modern private prisons first emerged in 1984 when the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), now known as CoreCivic, was awarded a contract to take over operation of a jail in Hamilton County, Tennessee. See comment below for link to the origins of private prisons.
What happens? More capital from the working class transfers to the billionaires.
That’s all they care about.
