That is called insurance fraud.
That is called insurance fraud.
I am retired. Your 13 Pro would work just fine for somebody like me. During set up, I would have declined Face ID as unneeded so I would never have known.
As stated, Chrome is just what I am used to using. Usually, I am just checking spelling or definitions before posting. OP asked for options and I shared.
I use Chrome, mostly because I am used to it from using Android so long. Safari seems to use Google, too, just adds ads.
I have special ringers for my wife and my Doctor’s clinic. The general ringer for everybody else is silent, vibrate off. The outgoing message says the voice mail is not monitored as I am hearing impaired so sent an email or text. I rarely get a text, and my outgoing message is 32 seconds long so messages from robocalls are usually over before anything is recorded.
I would like a simple and permanent mark as spam and block forever option on email, notifications, and text messages. I get a bunch of Facebook notifications of “you may know…” when I have never had the FB crap on my iPhone or iPad.
Internet speeds over 100mbps, when I was excited back in the day to upgrading and being able to connect to AOL at 2400k. Well, until somebody wanted to use the landline and picked up the extension.
March 2023, iPhone 14 plus and not very impressed with Apple. It works ok and I will use it for as long as it works and is supported or I am dead.
I send them to myself on my gmail account which is on both my Apple and HP toys.
If an app pays the fee to Apple, it gets in the App Store. Pay a higher fee and the app gets pushed. Even the scum apps are welcomed if the pay the fee.
I still use my old Samsung phone calendar for my alarms. That phone is now on WiFi only. It already had all my contacts and recurring events entered. When Verizon tried to port them to my iPhone 14, the data was incomplete and had duplicates. Besides, the special alarms I bought with real money are on my old phone.
I bought both an iPad and iPhone about the same time. My iPad never leaves the house and has a very protective kiddie case. No Apple Care required for me. I rarely leave the house, my iPhone is in a protective case, but the phone is glass and I am clumsy. This is not a $12.97 Walmart burner! I have Apple Care. I always have it in a zippered pocket in cold weather or zippered hip bag in cooler weather. Still, I am clumsy and despite the excessive co pay, the Apple insurance gives me peace of mind. My iPhone is just for calls/text so there is zero personal information on the phone in case it is stolen. I have the Jango Radio app for music via Bluetooth and one game. I don’t use Apple email or messenger.
My iPhone 14 is fine for use as a phone/text device and I will use it until it fails. A desired improvement would be in email and text, being able to easily and permanently mark senders as spam and never see them again. Additionally, block automatically anybody using the abbreviated address and not a full phone number.
I use Chrome on Apple, Android, and Windows toys mostly because I am used to it and know everything I need to know already.
When a site made unsubscribing difficult, I cancelled the credit card after explaining the attempted fraud to the credit card company. They issued me a new card and account. That was about 1998, so ymmv
If money is tight? You can get the current decent entry level smart phone, Samsung A14, as a prepaid for $99 or unlocked for $199.
