I played it even one day earlier on PS5… and the experience really wasn’t that great tbh, and than I had a game breaking bug on top of that as well.
I decided to just wait for the DLC and the big patch… we’ll, this took 3 years haha
From what I’ve heard, the new 2.0 update and DLC are really great! So I really hope I can finally play it now haha.
I’ve also heard good things about the performance and bugs!
Did you play the new DLC?
My many problem where honestly the bugs (had a game breaking one and I just saved…) and the performance…
it’s still not the game they marketed but it’s unlikely it ever would be.
I agree! It was just way too much and too big… even with their development time, I mean look how long GTA6 takes.
Dare I say it… did they really turned around the ship? I waited since the launch to finally finish playing it (or in this case, start a new game).
Exactly! It all looks good on paper, but I’m definitely waiting for reviews. Fool me once…
I already sold my physical copy and I really don’t regret it at all.
My group of friends and I where really excited and played through the story together, but the endgame just wasn’t fun. I don’t know what exactly it was, but we kinda stoped playing.
The new season and “patches” didn’t really improve it a lot imho… a shame, really!
That’s actually true, I completely forgot that!
Maybe they are testing the water in order to see how much interest there is for F-Zero? Let’s hope for the best.
I always remind myself to do this… Interesting post but no comments? Just add the first comment and a conversation will start - for me at least, there was always somebody commenting.
Another benefit is that they are more often then not patched up and better playable, compared to the release.
Me neither haha, it’s still mostly from the same podcast and a few meme post from our group chat.
The whole console war thing as stupid as the whole exclusivity thing…
If I could play Starfield right now, I would, but I also have no problem in waiting until it gets patched (which is the case with a lot of games lately).
I assume it is in part due to the Bethesda acquisition of Microsoft and that Starfield was destined to be the next big exclusive game for Xbox.
And Todd Howard’s comments about needing better hardware to play the game also didn’t help.
This was more or less the take from a (german) podcast, where they talked about their Starfield impressions.
Unfortunately my PC can’t run the game and I have to find a excuse to finally upgrade some parts to play it, so my impressions only come from other people either playing or talking about it. I will 100% play, because it is right up my ally and there a certainly many cool things to do and stuff to explore.
But for some reason I didn’t quite turned out to be THE game to play, if you know what I mean?
Yup, the rabbit hole is quite deep. That’s only the people we know to have been targeted by this version Pegasus, I’m sure the dark figure is much higher.
Thank you for directly linking the trailer!
Looks good, I’m excited - but I keep my expectations in check.
There really got me with this one… I was soooo excited for some F-Zero news… the music… the pixel look… then a shift to HD graphics and the a announcement of a new game… oh wait this was in my head!
Instead we got a battle royale.
Don’t get me wrong, I still take it and play it… but this was really brutal. :(
Unfortunately, as far as I understand it, not really. NSO and for sure many other companies offering similar spy software use multiple 0-day exploits to get into your device.
At least for the Pegasus one, a system restart seems to do the trick in removing it in most cases, although there are some reports on surviving even a factory reset on some phones…
The other question is, if you are not a person of interest like a high-ranking politician or journalist, you are most likely not going to be a target of an attack. On the other hand, you never know… and that’s the really scary part.
Exactly! The problem comes when you overpromise and overhype stuff and then don’t deliver on that front - which is a shame.
And yes, you really can’t compare NMS and starfield, as you mentioned.
This is exactly what I heard on a podcast today (unfortunately I can’t play starfield) and basically boils down to the fact, that starfield really doesn’t offer anything more than mass effect did like 15 years ago - gameplay wise.
I assume you are playing on PC, as I can’t justify an extensive PC upgrade right now, I’m stuck on my PS5 - but I’ve also heard good things about the console.
